Cracked glass, a black or flickering display, green or white lines, or a touch screen that has stopped responding on your iPhone 16 all mean the screen needs replacing. This iPhone 16 screen replacement is a complete diagnostic Soft OLED screen assembly - display, touch and front glass in one part - so it fixes both the picture and the touch in a single swap. Looking for an iPhone 16 LCD? The iPhone 16 actually uses an OLED display, and this replacement is OLED to match.
Also available for the iPhone 16: Soft OLED (lower price) · In-Cell LCD (budget option)
This diagnostic screen pairs a soft OLED panel with the original Apple display chip, moved over from a genuine iPhone 16 screen.
Why get yours?
- NO UNKNOWN PART MESSAGE - The original Apple display chip is already fitted, so iOS shows Genuine Used instead of an Unknown Part warning, with no soldering or chip transfer.
- TRUE OLED - Real blacks and rich, bright colour from the same display type your iPhone came with. OLED also uses less battery than an LCD.
- SHARP SOFT OLED - 2556 x 1179 at 460 ppi, the same resolution as the original screen.
- TRUE TONE - Works with iOS 18 or later, no transfer machine needed.
- PRECISE FIT - Brackets and cutouts match the original screen, so every hole lines up and the frame sits flush.
- EASIER TO FIT - Brackets come pre-installed, so there's less to move across from your old screen.
- QUALITY GLASS - Hard-wearing glass with an oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) coating that stands up to daily use.
Part Includes:
- iPhone 16 Diagnostic Flexible Soft OLED Screen Assembly (original Apple chip fitted)
- iPhone 16 Screen Gasket Adhesive
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 15, 16 Plus, 16 Pro, 16e or 17. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
Important: run Repair Assistant (Settings > General > About) with the front sensor flex unplugged first. Once paired, power down and plug the sensors in.
Please Note
True Tone works on iOS 18 and later. Don't write True Tone data to this screen with a programmer, as it may cause issues.
Please Note
Aftermarket soft OLED panel with the original Apple chip moved over, so it shows as Genuine Used instead of an Unknown Part warning. Not an official Apple product.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws on a screw mat or tape them to a drawing of your phone. This repair uses two 7.7mm pentalobe screws, two 0.9mm Y000 tri-point screws and one 1.3mm Phillips screw. Keep them apart so each goes back in the right place
- Remove the two 7.7mm pentalobe screws either side of the USB-C port, then heat the bottom edge to soften the adhesive
- The screen opens from the right-hand side like a book - the two display cables are on the left, near the Action button. Insert picks under the plastic bezel no deeper than 3mm on any edge, and twist the pick to release the clips
- The battery can't be disconnected for this repair. Keep the phone powered off, keep metal tools away from the battery and board, and never bend, crush or puncture the battery.
- Disconnect the screen connector first, then the front sensor connector - each sits under a small cover held by one 0.9mm Y000 tri-point screw. When reconnecting, line each connector up and press one side, then the other, until it clicks - don't force it
- Transfer the ambient light sensor from your old screen - the earpiece and Face ID camera stay in the phone; don't touch them. Remove its bracket (one 1.3mm Phillips screw), warm the area, lift it with a spudger or opening card and re-stick with Tesa tape
- For a clean pairing, run Repair Assistant (Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History) with the front sensor flex unplugged. Once the screen is paired, power down and plug the sensors in
- Test touch, display and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Clean off all the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit the new screen adhesive supplied in the box to keep dust and moisture out. Press or clamp the screen for at least 30 minutes
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
