All of our High Quality products carry a 6 Month Warranty. This is limited to aftermarket or 3rd Party parts. The warranty period for our High Quality products parts sold by iGadget carry this 6-Month warranty from the purchase date unless otherwise specified.
What does this warranty cover?
The iGadget 6-Month Warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture, parts or workmanship (from iGadget technicians) during the Warranty Period.
All of our Premium products carry a 12-Month Warranty. The warranty period for our Premium products and parts sold by iGadget carry this 12-Month warranty from the purchase date unless otherwise specified. Any repair undertaken by iGadget will also carry a 12-Month Warranty (unless stated otherwise).
What does this warranty cover?
The iGadget 12-Month Warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture, parts or workmanship (from iGadget technicians) during the Warranty Period.
Change of Mind
If you’re having second thoughts about a purchase, you can take advantage of our two-week returns policy. Returns must be in their original packaging and unused (adhesive backing or covers must not be peeled off), and you will need to pay for return shipping. Send it back within a fortnight and we’ll refund the purchase price.
Batteries are considered to be a consumable product meaning, as all batteries do, they degrade over time. As our batteries are Premium Products, we still do however, provide a 12-Month Warranty on all our batteries which guarantees that the battery will be 80% or above of the original capacity of the battery during the warranty period. If the percentage falls below this capacity during the warranty period, a replacement battery will be issued, if a replacement is unavailable, a full refund will be provided.
Our Baseus products come with a 12-Month Warranty. The iGadget 12-Month Warranty only applies where a defect has arisen, wholly or substantially, as a result of faulty manufacture or parts. Physical Damage is not covered under warranty.
What is not covered by our Warranties?
The big question from DIY enthusiasts is always “do your warranties include parts that I install myself?” Yes, they do, as long as you have not damaged them during the install! We want to encourage and equip people to do their own repairs.
It is important that you test new parts prior to installing them to make sure there is no manufacturers defect. Parts that have an out-of-box fault, but have been fully installed and had plastic covers and adhesives removed are not covered under warranty
Our 6-Month and 12-month Warranties do not apply where damage is caused by the installer (other than iGadget technicians), or other factors, including without limitation:(a) Normal wear and tear;
(b) Damage due to misuse or force damage
(c) Incorrect installation or damage through mishandling;
(d) Products that have come in contact with liquid
(e) Excessive wear and tear, mishandling, accident or failure to follow operating instructions;
(f) Battery leakage or infiltration of foreign particles;
(g) Batteries that have been pierced, bent or damaged in any way from installation or other means.
(h) Use of the Product with unsuitable accessories;
(i) Shipment or other transit. iGadget will not be responsible for damage or loss in transit. Our liability ends once the item has left our premises and tracking details have been provided to the customer. The courier services that iGadget use include a loss in transit and damage insurance, if the product is in their hands, you must claim your warranty through the chosen shipping company.
(j) Apple iOS or Android Software updates causing hardware faults including but not limited to decreased battery life, system errors or bricked devices due to Jailbreak or alike are not covered under warranty. It is recommended to backup your device before any software update in the unlikely event the device has an irrecoverable error to avoid loss of data.
(l) The Product has been subject to: abnormal use, abnormal condition, improper storage, exposure to moisture or dampness, exposure to excessive temperature or other such environmental conditions, unauthorised modifications, unauthorised connections, unauthorised repair including but not limited to use of unauthorised spare parts in repairs, misuse, neglect, abuse, accident, alteration, improper installation, Acts of God, spill of foods or liquids, maladjustment of customer controls or other acts which are beyond the reasonable control of iGadget Limited, including deficiencies in consumable parts such as fuses and breakage or damage to antennas, unless caused directly by defects in materials or workmanship, and normal wear and tear of the Product which can relate to items being mishandled or excessive force used when using the touch screen or buttons on the device.
How do you claim?
If there seems to be a hardware related problem with your device or part within the Warranty period, simply get in touch with us.
You will need to provide us with your original proof of purchase and we will work with you to resolve the issue. If the device or part needs to be returned and is within the first 14 days of purchase, we will reimburse you the cost of shipping it to us. If it is more than 14 days since the purchase you will be responsible for the cost of couriering the device back to us. Once we have validated the issue we will either fix your device or issue you a replacement within 5 business days.
If you make a validated warranty claim within 14 days of the purchase date, we will replace the item with a product that meets the same specifications. If a replacement cannot be sourced, a full refund will be issued.
For any claim made 14 days or more after the customer has received the item, a repair will be arranged or, if unrepairable, a replacement will be offered. A refund will not be granted after this initial two-week period.
Please DO NOT attempt to repair or take your device to a third party for repair without first contacting us. This will automatically void our warranty. We do not reimburse for third party repairs or purchases without express authorisation.
