Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any quesions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attemping any component removal
- The earpiece and sensor flex cable needs to be transferred from your old screen
- Be careful when transferring your earpiece flex cable from your old screen, use a spudger to gently pry underneath the flex cable to loosen the glue. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features. Watch the video above before attempting removal

Easy everything was packaged up nice. If you’re getting this definitely add on the 20buck iPhone tool set with the torX setting , way more reliable tools - you just get the standard aluminium drivers with the replacement screen set…rounded off way too easy for me after the first or second screw (although definitely was user fault) but I reordered the 3pk screwdrivers with steel tip, amazing got the job done quite quickly in the end!
