Product Details
Lost your mobile signal or getting poor reception on your iPhone 6s Plus, especially after a charging port repair? The thin signal cable that runs from the charging port assembly to the logic board may be damaged, pinched or missing. A damaged cable can cause poor or no mobile signal.
This is the iPhone 6s Plus charging port signal cable for the A1634, A1687, A1690 and A1699: a black coaxial antenna cable that clicks onto the Lightning connector assembly at one end and the top of the logic board at the other, running up the edge of the phone. It is a separate part from the charging port itself. Some replacement charging ports come without this cable, so if yours is damaged or missing, fit this one with our iPhone 6s Plus charging port flex cable.
Part Includes:
- Coaxial signal (antenna) cable with a connector at each end
Please Note
Not confirmed to fit the iPhone 6 Plus, 6s or 7 Plus. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
Signal cable only. The iPhone 6s Plus charging port is sold separately, and this cable clicks onto it during that repair.
Please Note
This repair requires the removal of the screen to reach the cable. Watch the video in Installation Help before you start.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. There are two 3.4mm P2 pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port, then Phillips screws of many different lengths inside. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Take the SIM tray out first. Warm the bottom edge, lift the screen with a suction cup on the lower left corner and slide a plastic tool along the bottom and up both sides. The screen opens from the bottom, hinged on the clips along the top edge, so don't open it past 90 degrees
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. On the iPhone 6s Plus the battery stays in the phone: remove the battery connector bracket (two Phillips screws) and lift the connector straight up
- Remove the display cable bracket (five Phillips screws, the 3.0mm one goes back in the top right corner), disconnect the screen cables and lift the screen off
- Remove the Lightning connector bracket (two 3.5mm and one 2.7mm Phillips screws) to reach the lower end of the signal cable. Unclip the cable from the Lightning connector assembly and from the top of the logic board, then lift it out of the clips along the edge of the phone (steps 29 to 32 of the guide). The logic board stays in; if the cable has no room, loosen the nearby logic board screw and tighten it again afterwards
- Route the new cable under the corner of the logic board and press it into the edge clips, then press each end on until it clicks. If it catches near the SIM reader, slide the SIM tray eject rod aside. Refit the SIM tray last and stop if you feel any resistance
- Before closing the phone, check you have mobile signal, make a test call and plug in a charger
- The iPhone 6s Plus screen is held by an adhesive gasket. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit new screen adhesive when you close it up. Hook the top edge of the screen in first, then press the rest down until it clicks into place
