This REPART in-cell LCD screen replacement swaps the complete display and touch digitiser on the iPhone XR (A1984, A2105, A2106, A2107 and A2108), with the metal LCD shield plate already fitted to the back.

It is built for the iPhone XR: a 6.1-inch, 1550 x 720 panel at 280 ppi, with 450-550 cd/m2 brightness and a 90-100% sRGB colour gamut.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Keep track of your screws, as the iPhone XR uses several lengths: two 6.7mm pentalobe screws at the bottom edge, 1.2mm Y000 screws on the brackets, and 1.3mm, 1.5mm, 1.6mm and 2.3mm Phillips screws. Use a screw mat to keep each set in place
- Warm the bottom edge, then lift the screen with a suction cup and picks no more than 3mm deep, under the plastic bezel and away from the display cables on the right edge. The top edge has clips: slide the screen slightly towards the Lightning port, then open it from the left like a book
- Disconnect the battery (cover held by three 1.2mm Y000 screws) before you unplug the digitiser, display and front sensor cables or attempt any component removal
- Carefully transfer the earpiece and front sensor assembly from your old screen - warm the top edge and use a spudger to gently pry underneath the flex cable to loosen the glue. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features. Watch the video above before attempting removal
- Test touch, display, earpiece, proximity and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Opening your iPhone XR breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it, seating the top edge clips first.
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
