Cracked your iPhone X screen? Or is the display showing lines, black patches or flicker, or is it not responding to touch? This REPART in-cell LCD screen replacement swaps the complete display and touch digitiser on the iPhone X, also called the iPhone 10 (A1865, A1901 and A1902), with the metal LCD shield plate already fitted to the back.
Also available for the iPhone X: Soft OLED (OLED picture quality)
It is built for the iPhone X: a 5.8-inch, 2338 x 1080 panel at 444 ppi, with 450-550 cd/m2 brightness and a 90-100% sRGB colour gamut. The iPhone X came with an OLED screen, so this LCD is a budget friendly alternative. It has a slightly thicker border and lower contrast than OLED.
- IN-CELL TECHNOLOGY - The LCD and touchscreen are in the same layer, so touch is quick and reliable, with even colour and brightness right to the edges. No delayed touch, shadows or dark patches like cheap out-of-cell (OOC) screens.
- PREMIUM LCD - A premium TFT LCD with brighter colours, whiter whites and darker blacks than other aftermarket LCD screens. One integrated driver chip runs display and touch together, for better power efficiency.
- PRECISE FIT - Chip-on-Flex (COF) bonding keeps the border slim for an LCD, and the dimensions and cutouts match the Apple screen, so installation is a breeze.
- QUALITY TESTED - Built from quality materials and components, and rigorously tested so REPART screens outperform standard LCD screens.
- 3D TOUCH SUPPORTED - Press firmly on the screen for 3D Touch shortcuts and previews, just like before.
- COST EFFECTIVE - A much cheaper alternative to Apple's OLED screens, saving you money.
Part Includes:
- iPhone X REPART In-Cell LCD Screen and Touch Digitiser Assembly
- Metal LCD shield plate (pre-installed)
- iPhone X Screen Gasket Adhesive
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone XS, XS Max, XR or 11 Pro. The XS looks the same but uses a different screen. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
3D Touch and Face ID keep working once you move your earpiece and front sensors across. No Unknown Part message on the X.
Please Note
Third party screen, not an official Apple product. True Tone needs a programmer to copy it from your old screen, as the X can't run iOS 18.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws: two 6.9mm P2 pentalobe screws at the bottom, then Y000 screws inside (1.1mm, 3.1mm and 3.7mm on the connector bracket; 1.2mm, 1.3mm and 1.6mm on the earpiece). A long screw in the wrong hole can damage the logic board, so use a screw mat
- Warm the bottom edge, lift the screen with a suction cup and slide the pick under the plastic bezel, no more than 3mm deep. It opens like a book from the left, hinged on the right by its display cables - the top is held by clips, so ease it towards the Lightning port and do not lift it from the top
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
- Remove the five-screw connector bracket and disconnect the battery first, then the front sensor, display and digitiser cables, before attempting any component removal
- Carefully transfer the earpiece speaker and front sensor assembly from your old screen - warm the top edge and use a spudger to gently pry underneath the flex cable to loosen the glue. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features. Watch the video above before attempting removal
- Test touch, 3D Touch, display, earpiece, proximity and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working. If touch doesn't respond, disconnect the battery and reseat the recessed digitiser connector
- Opening your iPhone X breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it.
- True Tone switches off after any screen swap on the iPhone X, as it cannot update to iOS 18. A True Tone programmer can copy it across from your old screen
