This REPART in-cell LCD screen replacement swaps the complete display and touch digitiser on the iPhone 14 Pro Max (A2651, A2893, A2894, A2895 and A2896), with the metal LCD shield plate already fitted to the back.

It is built for the iPhone 14 Pro Max: a 6.7-inch, 2796 x 1290 panel at 460 ppi, with 650-700 cd/m2 brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 103-106% sRGB colour gamut. The iPhone 14 Pro Max came with an OLED screen, so this LCD is a budget friendly alternative. It has a slightly thicker border and lower contrast than OLED.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws on a screw mat - the two bottom pentalobe screws are 6.8mm, the connector cover uses eight Y000 screws in three lengths (1.3mm, 1.6mm and 1.9mm) and the sensor bracket two 1.4mm Phillips screws. A long screw in a short hole can damage the logic board
- Remove the two pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port and warm the edges. The screen opens from the right-hand side like a book - the display cables are on the left. Insert picks no deeper than 3mm, and no deeper than 2mm along the left edge
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
- Disconnect the battery first, then the two display cables, before attempting any component removal
- Transfer the front sensor flex (proximity and ambient light sensor) from your old screen: remove its bracket, warm the top edge, gently pry it up with an opening card and re-stick it with Tesa tape. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features
- Test touch, display, proximity, Dynamic Island and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Opening your iPhone 14 Pro Max breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it.
- This screen supports IC transfer - a micro-soldering specialist can move the display IC from your old screen onto this one
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
