Product Details

Cracked your Moto G85 screen, or is the display black, showing lines, or no longer responding to touch? This premium flexible soft OLED replaces the whole display and touch digitiser, not just the glass, on the Moto G85 5G (XT2427) and its China twin the Moto S50 Neo, and it also fits the Edge 50 Fusion (XT2429). Looking for a Moto G85 LCD? The G85 actually uses an OLED display, and this replacement is OLED to match.
Got the Edge 50 or Edge 50 Pro? This is the screen for it. Got the Edge 40, Edge 40 Neo or Moto Edge (2023 / 2024)? This is the screen for it.
- TRUE OLED - Deep blacks and rich, intense colour from the same display type your G85 came with, and OLED uses less battery than an LCD.
- FLEXIBLE SOFT OLED - Built on a flexible panel, so it follows the curved edges of the G85, in the original 6.67" size and 1080 x 2400 resolution.
- QUALITY PANEL AND DRIVER CHIP - The OLED panel and its driver chip are sourced from the same manufacturer that Motorola uses, for a high quality replacement.
- TOUGH, SMUDGE RESISTANT GLASS - 9H rated glass with an oleophobic coating, so it stands up to everyday scratches and wipes clean of fingerprints.
- PRECISE FIT - The cutouts and curved edges line up with the original, so the screen sits flush in your frame and your phone closes up properly.
- SENT FROM NZ STOCK - Shipped from our New Zealand stock, so there's no waiting weeks for a part to arrive from overseas.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Power the phone off and take out the SIM tray before you open it.
- The back cover is glued on. Warm the edges gently with the iOpener in short bursts, as too much heat can damage the battery, then work a pick around the edge to slice the adhesive, no more than 3 to 5mm in, or you can cut the antenna or camera cables.
- Always track your screws (Phillips #00) so they go back in the right place. Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to it, or use a screw mat
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
- Remove the board cover over the display connector and disconnect the display cable with the spudger. The old screen is glued to the front of the frame. Warm it in short bursts and work picks in from the front, with an opening card or the iPlastix to hold the gap, keeping them shallow around the curved edges and over the front camera and in-display fingerprint area, as the unreinforced OLED panel can crack if you lever it. Thread the display cable out through the frame as it lifts away.
- Pick the old adhesive off the frame with the tweezers, then clean the rest off with isopropyl alcohol so the new screen sits flat.
- Connect and test the new screen before gluing it in: thread its cable through the frame, plug it and the battery in, then check the display, touch and in-display fingerprint reader (set your fingerprint up again) before unplugging the battery. Leave the protective film and stickers on until the new screen is working properly.
- Run a thin bead of B7000 around the frame, clear of the cable cutout, then press the screen down evenly and hold it in place while the glue sets.
- Fit a strip of 2mm Tesa tape where the old back adhesive was and press the back cover down all the way round, so it sits flat.
