Product Details
Is your iPhone 6 Plus charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or Lightning dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This Lightning dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone 6 Plus (A1522, A1524 and A1593). It also carries the headphone jack and the bottom microphone, so it can fix audio problems such as no sound through wired headphones or callers not hearing you.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported by iPhone" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- Lightning connector
- Headphone jack
- Microphone
- Flex cable with logic board connector
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 6s Plus or iPhone 6. They look alike but use different ports. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only shows inside the port and can't be seen from the outside. Choose a light or dark one to suit the inside of your current port.
Please Note
This repair requires the removal of the screen, vibrator and loudspeaker to reach the port. Watch the video in Installation Help before you start.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. There are two P2 pentalobe screws at the bottom edge, then many #000 Phillips screws of different lengths inside (nine hold the port assembly alone). You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Lift the screen with a suction cup placed just above the home button (or use the iSclack) and gently pry the rear case away with an opening pick. The clips along the top edge act as a hinge, so open the screen from the home button end and support it at no more than 90 degrees so the display cables are not strained
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. On the iPhone 6 Plus the battery stays in the phone: remove the small battery connector bracket (two Phillips screws) and lift the connector out of its socket
- Remove the front panel cable bracket and disconnect the front camera and earpiece, home button, display and digitiser cables to lift the screen off. Put each bracket screw back in the hole it came from, as a longer screw in the wrong hole can damage the logic board
- The logic board stays in on the iPhone 6 Plus. Unplug the charging port cable and the antenna interconnect cable from the board, then remove the vibrator and loudspeaker (two Phillips screws each), lifting the antenna cable out of their channels as you go
- Remove the metal Lightning connector bracket over the port (two Phillips screws), unplug the antenna cable from its socket on the port assembly, then remove the nine Phillips screws and the small plastic microphone bracket beside the headphone jack
- The flex cable is held to the rear case with a mild adhesive. Warm the lower back of the phone with the iOpener and work an opening pick slowly under the cable, then clean any adhesive residue off the case. Move the rubber gasket from the old headphone jack across to the new one if the new part has none
- The connector to the logic board can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. We recommend taking a pencil and tracing the original charging port so you know exactly where it gets positioned and lining the new charger port within the pencil lines
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges, connects to a computer, plays sound through headphones, has mobile signal and that the microphone works (record a voice memo). If the screen shows lines or stays blank, reconnect the display cable and then disconnect and reconnect the battery
- The iPhone 6 Plus has no water-resistance seal, so no screen adhesive is needed. When closing, hook the clips along the top edge in first, press the screen down and refit the two pentalobe screws
