It is built for the iPhone 16 Pro: a 6.3-inch, 2622 x 1206 panel at 460 ppi, with 550-600 cd/m2 brightness, a 120Hz refresh rate and a 103-106% sRGB colour gamut. The iPhone 16 Pro came with an OLED screen, so this LCD is a budget friendly alternative. It has a slightly thicker border and lower contrast than OLED.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are different lengths: two 7.4mm P2 pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port, two 1.3mm Y000 screws on the display and front sensor cable covers, and one 1mm Phillips screw on the ambient light sensor bracket. Use a screw mat to keep them in place
- Remove the two pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port, warm the edges, lift the screen with a suction cup and keep picks no more than 3mm deep. The screen opens like a book from the right side, hinged on the left, where two fragile display cables run
- The battery can't be disconnected for this repair, so keep the phone powered off and keep metal tools away from the board. Unplug the display cable first, then the front sensor cable, before attempting any component removal
- If your new screen has no ambient light sensor fitted, carefully move it across from your old screen - remove its bracket, warm it and gently lift the cable with a pick, then re-stick it with Tesa tape. Watch the video above before attempting removal
- Test touch, display, earpiece, proximity, Dynamic Island and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Opening your iPhone 16 Pro breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it.
- This screen supports IC transfer - a micro-soldering specialist can move the display IC from your old screen onto this one
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
