Here is some tools you may need to help you complete the repair.

• Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
• Always power down your device prior to working on it
• Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal
• The sensor flex cable needs to be transferred from your old screen
• Be careful when transferring your ear speaker from your old screen, use a spudger to gently pry underneath the flex cable to loosen the glue. If the cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features
• DO NOT attempt to transfer true tone data to this screen. The original chip does not allow writing to and may damage the screen. True tone will already work out of the box
• To pair the screen to your phone, DO NOT plug in the sensor flex cable at the top of the screen. Run the repair wizard and complete screen integration. Once complete, reinstall the sensor flex cable
