Cracked your iPhone XS Max screen? Or is the display showing lines, black patches or flicker, or is it not responding to touch? This REPART in-cell LCD screen replacement swaps the complete display and touch digitiser on the iPhone XS Max (A1921, A2101, A2102, A2103 and A2104), with the metal LCD shield plate already fitted to the back.
Also available for the iPhone XS Max: Soft OLED (OLED picture quality)
It is built for the iPhone XS Max: a 6.5-inch, 2688 x 1242 panel at 458 ppi, with 450-550 cd/m2 brightness and a 90-100% sRGB colour gamut. The iPhone XS Max came with an OLED screen, so this LCD is a budget friendly alternative. It has a slightly thicker border and lower contrast than OLED.
- IN-CELL TECHNOLOGY - The LCD and touchscreen are in the same layer, so touch is quick and reliable, with even colour and brightness right to the edges. No delayed touch, shadows or dark patches like cheap out-of-cell (OOC) screens.
- PREMIUM LCD - A premium TFT LCD with brighter colours, whiter whites and darker blacks than other aftermarket LCD screens. One integrated driver chip runs display and touch together, for better power efficiency.
- PRECISE FIT - Chip-on-Flex (COF) bonding keeps the border slim for an LCD, and the dimensions and cutouts match the Apple screen, so installation is a breeze.
- QUALITY TESTED - Built from quality materials and components, and rigorously tested so REPART screens outperform standard LCD screens.
- TRUE TONE CAPABLE - With iOS 18 or later, True Tone works with this screen without a transfer machine.
- COST EFFECTIVE - A much cheaper alternative to Apple's OLED screens, saving you money.
Part Includes:
- iPhone XS Max REPART In-Cell LCD Screen and Touch Digitiser Assembly
- Metal LCD shield plate (pre-installed)
- iPhone XS Max Screen Gasket Adhesive
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 11 Pro Max, XS or XR. The 11 Pro Max is the same size, but its screen differs. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
No display warning on the XS Max. iOS only checks the screen on iPhone 11 and later, so you won't see an Unknown Part message.
Please Note
Third party screen, not an official Apple product. Move your earpiece and front sensor assembly across carefully to keep Face ID working.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are different lengths: two 6.9mm P2 pentalobe screws at the bottom, then Y000 screws inside - 1.1mm, 1.5mm and 3.7mm on the logic board bracket, 1.1mm and 1.5mm on the display connector bracket, and 1.4mm and 1.5mm on the earpiece. A long screw in the wrong hole can damage the logic board, so use a screw mat to keep them in place
- Warm the bottom edge, lift the screen with a suction cup and slide a pick under the plastic bezel, no more than 3mm deep. The top edge has clips: ease the screen towards the Lightning port, then open it like a book from the left, hinged on the right by its display cables - do not lift it from the top
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
- Remove the four-screw logic board bracket and disconnect the battery first, then remove the display connector bracket and unplug the front sensor, display and digitiser cables, before attempting any component removal
- Carefully transfer the earpiece speaker and front sensor assembly from your old screen - warm the top edge and use a spudger to gently pry underneath the flex cable to loosen the glue. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features. Watch the video above before attempting removal
- Test touch, 3D Touch, display, earpiece, proximity and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working. If part of the screen doesn't respond to touch, disconnect the battery and reseat the digitiser connector
- Opening your iPhone XS Max breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it, seating the top edge clips first.
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
