This REPART in-cell LCD screen replacement swaps the complete display and touch digitiser on the iPhone 12 mini (A2176, A2398, A2399 and A2400), with the metal LCD shield plate already fitted to the back.

It is built for the iPhone 12 mini: a 5.4-inch, 2340 x 1080 panel at 476 ppi, with brightness up to 700 cd/m2. The iPhone 12 mini came with an OLED screen, so this LCD is a budget friendly alternative. It has a slightly thicker border and lower contrast than OLED.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, as they are different lengths: two 6.7mm pentalobe at the bottom, one 1.25mm Y000 on the connector bracket, five 1mm Y000 on the front sensor bracket, and 1.1mm and 1.8mm Y000 plus two 1.6mm Phillips on the earpiece. A screw mat helps
- Remove the two pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port, warm the edges and lift the screen with a suction cup and picks no more than 3mm deep (2mm on the left edge, where the display cables run). It opens like a book from the right, hinged on the left - do not lift it from the top
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
- Disconnect the battery first, then the display cable (both under the one-screw bracket), then the front sensor cable, before attempting any component removal. Refit the display connector by pressing each side until it clicks, never the middle
- Carefully transfer the earpiece and front sensor assembly from your old screen - warm the top edge and use a spudger to gently lift the proximity sensor and flood illuminator. If the flex cable breaks, you will lose Face ID features. Watch the video above before attempting removal
- Test touch, display, earpiece, proximity and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Opening your iPhone 12 mini breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit the new screen gasket adhesive included in the box when you reassemble it.
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later)
