• Suction Cup
• iGadget 5 piece opening picks
• 5x iGadget Plastic Flexible Opening Cards
• Black Spudger
• Fine Tipped Curved Tweezers
• 2mm Tesa Tape 61395 Double Sided Adhesive Tape

• Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
• Always power down your device prior to working on it
• Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
• The back cover is held by clips and a light adhesive. Warm the edges with the iOpener, lift the cover with the suction cup and slide an opening pick around the edge.
• Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal
• The charging port board sits under a plastic cover at the bottom of the phone. Remove its screws and lift it off to reach the board.
• The board connects to the main board with a long flex cable. Disconnect it at both ends with a spudger, and press both connectors back down until they click when refitting.
• Reconnect the aerial (coaxial antenna) cable and make sure the board's grounding contact sits against the frame when refitting, or the phone may lose signal after the repair.
• Test charging, the headphone jack and the microphone before you close the phone.
• If the back cover does not sit flat when refitting, run a strip of 2mm Tesa tape where the old adhesive was.
