Common signs of a failing battery include rapid power drain or unexpected shutdowns. You might also notice that your device fails to charge or displays a service warning in your battery settings. You should never dispose of old lithium batteries in your regular household rubbish. Please take them to an approved e-waste centre or a dedicated battery recycling facility. This ensures that the old components are handled safely and in an environmentally responsible way. Most local councils in New Zealand provide drop-off points for these types of items.
