iGadget OCX aftermarket screen banner with the green OCX badge

Cracked your iPhone 5s or SE (2016) screen, or is the display black, showing lines or no longer responding to touch? This OCX aftermarket screen replacement is a bright, budget friendly way to replace your iPhone 5s or SE (2016) screen. The camera bracket, sensor bracket and speaker mesh come pre-installed, saving you time and making the repair easier.

Why get yours?

  • Brighter display. A 3M ESR brightness enhancer behind the LCD makes this screen brighter than typical aftermarket screens.
  • Natural colour. A lower colour temperature avoids the cold blue tinge many aftermarket screens have.
  • No pressure marks. The touch IC is the same size as the original, so it doesn't press into the LCD and leave marks.
  • Easy to install. The camera bracket, sensor bracket and speaker mesh come fitted, so the repair is quicker.
  • Quality glass. Hard tempered glass with a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating.

Part Includes:

  • iPhone 5s/SE OCX LCD Screen and Touch Digitiser Assembly
  • Camera bracket, sensor bracket and speaker mesh (pre-installed)
  • 12 Month Warranty

Please Note

Does NOT fit the iPhone 5 or 5c, or the iPhone SE 2020 or SE 2022. Check the model number on the back of your phone (or in Settings, General, About).

Please Note

Aftermarket screen, not an official Apple part.

Please Note

Move the home button across from your old screen. Only your original home button gives you Touch ID. If its cable tears, the button can be replaced but Touch ID will stop working. The front camera, earpiece speaker and sensor cable also move across from your old screen.

Specifications

* Please note, to make searching the device number (M Number) easier, we have only listed the part numbers (First 5 characters), we have removed the region numbers as there is no difference in parts. For example, if "M Number" is "MC922LL/A". we remove the "region" portion and everything after (the "LL/A" at the end) leaving us with "MC922".

iFixit iPhone 5s Screen Replacement Guide

helpful tips

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email

  • Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
  • Always power down your device prior to working on it
  • Track your screws on a screw mat or tape them to a drawing of your phone, and keep each set separate. Screws put back in the wrong hole can damage the logic board
  • Take out the two P2 pentalobe screws next to the Lightning port, then lift the bottom of the screen with the suction cup. The top edge is held by clips, so lift from the bottom and swing it up
  • Do not lift the screen more than about 4cm until you have disconnected the Touch ID cable at the bottom, under its small metal bracket. Pulling the screen up too far tears this cable and Touch ID stops working for good
  • Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts. Keep metal tools away from the battery, and never bend, crush or puncture it.
  • Carefully move the home button and the front camera, earpiece speaker and sensor cable across from your old screen. Use a spudger to gently lift flex cables that are glued down. Watch the video above before you start
  • Test the display, touch, home button, front camera and the proximity sensor (during a call) before you close the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
  • When you close the phone, hook the top clips in first and press the bottom of the screen down until it sits flush
