Is your Samsung Galaxy A20 charging port not working? If it feels loose, is charging on and off, is having trouble connecting to a computer, having audio or microphone issues or is not charging at all, a new charging port board (also called the charging board or sub board) is usually the repair you need.
Part Includes:
- USB Type C connector
- Headphone jack
- Microphone
- Aerial socket
- Flex Cable Socket
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit the A20e (SM-A202F), A20s (SM-A207F) or the US A20 (SM-A205U, U1), which uses a different board. Not confirmed for the Canadian SM-A205W. Check in Settings, About phone for your model.
Please Note
The bottom microphone is on this board, so it also fixes callers not being able to hear you.
Please Note
This part will either be brand new OEM or an A-Grade Used Genuine Samsung replacement

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it, and take out the SIM card tray first
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- The plastic back cover is held on with adhesive. Warm the edges with the iOpener, lift the cover with the suction cup and slide an opening pick around the edge. Do not overheat the phone: the screen and the battery are both damaged by heat, so work in short bursts.
- Only push an opening pick 4 to 5mm past the edge. Any deeper and you can cut the antenna cable, the power button cable or the rear cameras.
- About 13 screws hold the plastic inner cover over the boards. Remove them and lift the cover off to reach the battery connector and the charging port board.
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal
- The board connects to the main board with thin flex cables. Disconnect them at both ends with a spudger, and press the connectors back down until they click when refitting.
- The board is held down with conductive tape and a screw. Warm it gently and lift it slowly, without forcing a tool under it.
- Reconnect the aerial (coaxial antenna) cable and make sure the board's grounding contact sits against the frame when refitting, or the phone may lose signal after the repair.
- Test charging, the headphone jack, the microphone and the loudspeaker before you close the phone.
- If the back cover does not sit flat when refitting, run a strip of 2mm Tesa tape where the old adhesive was.
