Product Details
Is your iPhone 17 Pro charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or USB-C dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This Silver USB-C dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone 17 Pro models with a SIM tray (A3523 and A3524): the USB-C connector, the microphone attached to it and the flex cable that plugs into the logic board.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- USB-C connector (Silver)
- Microphone (attached to the port flex)
- Flex Cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 17, Air or 17 Pro Max, or the eSIM-only 17 Pro (A3256, A3522). Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only is seen inside the charging port, not easily visible from the outside, so this one suits any colour iPhone 17 Pro. This part will either be brand new or a used genuine Apple replacement.
Please Note
Opening the iPhone 17 Pro breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit new screen adhesive when you close it up.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are many different lengths: two 7.5mm P2 pentalobe screws at the bottom edge, the battery tray screws, two 4.0mm standoff screws on the Taptic Engine, and on the port itself 1.2mm to 3.3mm screws, two of them on the bottom edge of the frame. Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Remove the two pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port, warm the bottom edge and lift the screen from the front with a suction cup, then slide opening picks around the edges to separate the adhesive. Only insert the picks a few millimetres so you don't cut the screen cables
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. Remove the small connector covers, disconnect the battery first, then the screen, and reconnect the battery last
- The logic board stays in, but the battery, loudspeaker and Taptic Engine come out first, and the separate main microphone beside the port is unscrewed and lifted off. The port flex unplugs from two stacked press connectors at the bottom left of the logic board. Fit new battery adhesive when the battery goes back in
- The port is glued to the frame. Warm it before prying, separate the microphone on the left of the port with an opening pick, and don't tear the large black graphite sheet inside the frame
- The connector to the logicboard can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. We recommend taking a pencil and tracing the original charging port so you know exactly where it gets positioned and lining the new charger port within the pencil lines. Tuck the port's mounting tab under the logic board, plug a charge cable in to check the alignment, then press the port down firmly for 20 seconds
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges, connects to a computer and that the microphone works (record a voice memo)
- Opening your iPhone 17 Pro breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol, re-seal the microphone gasket (or use 2mm Tesa tape with a hole for the microphone opening) and fit new screen adhesive when you reassemble it
