Cracked glass, a black or flickering display, green or white lines, or a touch screen that has stopped responding on your iPhone 15 Pro Max all mean the screen needs replacing. This iPhone 15 Pro Max screen replacement is a complete diagnostic Soft OLED screen assembly - display, touch and front glass in one part - so it fixes both the picture and the touch in a single swap. Looking for an iPhone 15 Pro Max LCD? The iPhone 15 Pro Max actually uses an OLED display, and this replacement is OLED to match.
Also available for the iPhone 15 Pro Max: Soft OLED (lower price) · In-Cell LCD (budget option)
This diagnostic screen pairs a soft OLED panel with the original Apple display chip, moved over from a genuine iPhone 15 Pro Max screen.
Why get yours?
- NO UNKNOWN PART MESSAGE - The original Apple display chip is already fitted, so iOS shows Genuine Used instead of an Unknown Part warning, with no soldering or chip transfer.
- TRUE OLED - Real blacks and rich, bright colour from the same display type your iPhone came with. OLED also uses less battery than an LCD.
- SHARP SOFT OLED - 2796 x 1290 at 460 ppi, the same resolution as the original screen.
- 120HZ PROMOTION - Adapts up to 120Hz like the original and drops down when the screen is still, saving battery.
- TRUE TONE - Works with iOS 18 or later, no transfer machine needed.
- PRECISE FIT - Brackets and cutouts match the original screen, so every hole lines up and the frame sits flush.
- EASIER TO FIT - Brackets come pre-installed, so there's less to move across from your old screen.
- QUALITY GLASS - Hard-wearing glass with an oleophobic (anti-fingerprint) coating that stands up to daily use.
Part Includes:
- iPhone 15 Pro Max Diagnostic Flexible Soft OLED Screen Assembly (original Apple chip fitted)
- iPhone 15 Pro Max Screen Gasket Adhesive
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 15 Plus, 15 Pro or 14 Pro Max. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
Important: run Repair Assistant (Settings > General > About) with the front sensor flex unplugged first. Once paired, power down and plug the sensors in.
Please Note
True Tone works on iOS 18 and later. Don't write True Tone data to this screen with a programmer, as it may cause issues.
Please Note
Aftermarket soft OLED panel with the original Apple chip moved over, so it shows as Genuine Used instead of an Unknown Part warning. Not an Official Apple product.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws on a screw mat or tape them to a drawing of your phone. The logic board cover uses six Y000 tri-point screws, one 2.1mm and five 1.5mm - a long screw in a short hole can damage the logic board
- Remove the two 7.2mm pentalobe screws on either side of the USB-C port, then heat the bottom edge to soften the adhesive
- Insert your pick under the plastic bezel around the screen, not into the seam between the bezel and the display. The screen opens from the right-hand side like a book - the two display cables are on the left edge, one just above the Action button. Go no deeper than 3mm at the bottom and top, 5mm on the right and 2mm along the left edge, and twist the pick to release the clips on the right and top edges
- Disconnect the battery first, then the ambient light sensor, then the screen, before attempting any component removal
- The ambient light sensor is not fitted to the new screen, so transfer it from your old screen - it is the only part moved over on this model (no earpiece speaker or Face ID part). Remove the 1.4mm Phillips screw and the sensor cover, warm the area and lift the sensor slowly with a pick, as the cable is very fragile (steps 25-33 of the iFixit guide). Re-stick it with Tesa tape if its adhesive is weak
- For a clean pairing, run Repair Assistant (Settings > General > About > Parts and Service History) with the front sensor flex unplugged. Once the screen is paired, power down and plug the sensors in
- Test touch, display, proximity (screen turns off during a call) and Face ID before sealing the phone, and don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until it's all working
- Clean off all the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit the new screen adhesive supplied in the box to keep dust and moisture out
- Once the repair is finished, turn True Tone on in Settings > Display & Brightness (iOS 18 or later). Don't write True Tone data to this screen with a programmer, as it may cause issues
