Is your 13-inch MacBook Air not charging, or has its left USB port or headphone jack stopped working? The MagSafe 2 port, USB port and headphone jack all sit on one small I/O board (also called the IO board, MagSafe 2 DC-in board, DC jack or power board), so a new I/O board is usually the repair you need.
This board fits the 13-inch MacBook Air A1466 from Mid 2013 to 2017. Got a Mid 2012 Air? It uses the Mid 2012 MacBook Air 13" I/O board.
Part Includes:
- 1x I/O board with MagSafe 2 port, USB 3 port and headphone jack
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit the Mid 2012 MacBook Air 13" A1466 or the 2018 and later Retina Air. Check the year in About This Mac as well as the A-number.
Please Note
Carries the MagSafe 2 port, one USB 3 port and the headphone jack. The SD card slot is on the logic board, not this board.
Please Note
The battery stays in and is only unplugged. The fan comes out to reach the board.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- The 10 P5 bottom case screws are two lengths. Track your screws on a magnetic work mat or tape them to a drawing of your laptop, as several screws look alike but are different lengths
- Unplug the battery by pulling its connector tab towards the front edge, not upwards
- Note which way round the I/O cable goes before you remove it. It will fit reversed, but the Air then won't start
- The logic board end of the I/O cable sits in a deep socket. Walk it out by levering alternate sides with a spudger
- The fan and the I/O board are held by T5 screws. On these years the camera cable only needs lifting out of its notch in the I/O board, not unplugging
