Is the trackpad on your 15" MacBook Air not clicking, not responding or not working at all? The trackpad flex cable joins the trackpad to the logic board, and it can wear where it rubs against the bottom case. Apple only sells it with a whole trackpad, so the cable on its own is the cheaper fix.
This cable fits the 15-inch MacBook Air A3114 (M3, 2024), A3241 (M4, 2025) and A3448 (M5, 2026). For the 13-inch M3, M4 or M5, get the A3113 / A3240 / A3449 trackpad cable.

Please Note
Does NOT fit the 2023 M2 15" A2941 or any 13" MacBook Air. Check the A-number on the bottom case.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Turn off Auto Boot first so the MacBook doesn't switch on when you open it: on macOS Sequoia or later run
sudo nvram BootPreference=%00in Terminal, andsudo nvram -d BootPreferenceto undo it. On older macOS, keep the lid closed while it is plugged in - Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Always unplug the battery before you remove any other parts, and keep metal tools away from the battery. Never bend, crush or puncture it
- The bottom case screws are P5. Track your screws on a magnetic work mat or tape them to a drawing of your laptop
- Lift the front edge of the bottom case with a suction cup and run an opening pick round the edge to release the clips
- The cable is stuck down. Warm it with an iOpener and peel it up slowly
- Some 2023 and later screws are Torx Plus (3IP and 5IP). A T5 can strip them, so go gently or use a Torx Plus bit
- Lift the cable connectors with a spudger or tweezers, never the sockets
