Product Details
Is your iPhone 12 Pro Max charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or Lightning dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This Lightning dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone 12 Pro Max (A2342, A2410, A2411 and A2412). It also carries the bottom microphone, so it can fix audio problems such as callers not hearing you.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported by iPhone" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- Lightning connector
- Lower microphone
- Flex cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit the iPhone 12, 12 Pro, 12 mini or 13 Pro Max. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only shows inside the port and can't be seen from the outside. Choose a light or dark one to suit the inside of your current port.
Please Note
Opening the iPhone 12 Pro Max breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit new screen adhesive when you close it up.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Remove the two P2 pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port, warm the bottom edge and lift the screen from the front with a suction cup. Keep picks no more than 3mm deep (2mm on the left edge, where the display cables run). The screen opens like a book from the right side
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. On the iPhone 12 Pro Max the battery and display connectors sit under a bracket held by Y000 screws: disconnect the battery first, then the display cables, and reconnect the battery last
- The loudspeaker and Taptic Engine sit at the bottom of the phone and come out before you can reach the charging port. Watch the video above for the full order of work
- The connector to the logic board can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. We recommend taking a pencil and tracing the original charging port so you know exactly where it gets positioned and lining the new charger port within the pencil lines
- Before sealing the phone, test charging with the cable both ways round, a computer connection, and the bottom microphone (record a Voice Memo)
- Clean off the old screen adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit new screen adhesive when you reassemble, as opening the phone breaks its factory water-resistance seal
