Is your iPhone 14 charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or Lightning dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This Lightning dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone 14 (A2649, A2881, A2882, A2883 and A2884): the Lightning connector, the two lower microphones and the flex cable that plugs into the logic board.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- Lightning connector
- Two lower microphones
- Flex Cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 13, 14 Plus, 14 Pro or 14 Pro Max. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only shows inside the port and can't be seen from the outside, so this one suits any colour iPhone.
Please Note
Opening the iPhone 14 breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit new back glass adhesive when you close it up.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are many different lengths: two 6.8mm P2 pentalobe screws either side of the Lightning port, then small Y000 and Phillips screws on the battery connector cover, the bottom brackets and the loudspeaker (three 1.4mm and one 1.6mm Phillips, one 1.2mm Y000). Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- For this repair the iPhone 14 is opened from the back glass and the screen can stay on. Warm the edges of the back glass, lift it with a suction cup and slide opening picks around the edge, no more than 3mm deep so you don't cut the cables along the edges
- The back glass stays connected by the charging coil cable, so open it like the back cover of a book and don't strain the cable
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. On the iPhone 14 the battery connector sits under the back glass, beneath a small cover held by two Y000 screws. Then disconnect the charging coil cable so the back glass can be set aside
- The charging port is reached from the back once the bottom brackets and loudspeaker are out. The logic board stays in. Disconnect the port flex from the logic board with a spudger before lifting the port out
- The connector to the logic board can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. We recommend taking a pencil and tracing the original charging port so you know exactly where it gets positioned and lining the new charger port within the pencil lines
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges, connects to a computer and that the microphone works (record a voice memo and a short video)
- Opening your iPhone 14 breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit new back glass adhesive when you reassemble it
