Is your iPhone SE 2022 charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or Lightning dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This Lightning dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone SE 2022, also called the iPhone SE 3 or 3rd generation (A2595, A2782, A2783, A2784 and A2785): the Lightning connector, the two lower microphones and the flex cable that plugs into the logic board.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- Lightning connector
- Two lower microphones
- Flex Cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit the iPhone SE 2016 (1st gen). Not confirmed to fit the SE 2020 or iPhone 8. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only is seen inside the charging port, not easily visible from the outside. Choose a dark or light colour to suit the inside of your current port.
Please Note
This repair requires the removal of the logic board to reach the port. Watch the video in Installation Help before you start.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are many different lengths: two 3.4mm P2 pentalobe screws at the bottom edge, then small Phillips, Y000 and standoff screws inside. Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- Remove the SIM tray and the two pentalobe screws beside the Lightning port, warm the screen and lift it from the bottom edge (near the home button) with a suction cup. Slide an opening pick around the sides, no more than 3mm deep on the right edge where the display cables run, and don't pry the top edge, which is held by clips. Don't lift the bottom more than 15 degrees, then slide the screen slightly towards the port and open it like a book from the left
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. On the iPhone SE 2022 remove the lower display cable bracket and disconnect the battery first, then the display and front sensor cables, and reconnect the battery last
- The charging port sits under the logic board. The Wi-Fi diversity antenna, Taptic Engine, barometric vent, loudspeaker and logic board all come out to reach it, so unplug every connector on the logic board before lifting it out
- The port flex is glued in and runs along the bottom of the battery and past the wireless charging coil. Warm the bottom of the case and free it slowly with a plastic pick, and never push a pick into the battery
- The connector to the logicboard can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. We recommend taking a pencil and tracing the original charging port so you know exactly where it gets positioned and lining the new charger port within the pencil lines. Line the hole in the flex up with the screw post before you press the new flex down
- Move the rubber gasket and the antenna converter cable across from your old port if the new one does not have them, and fit new microphone adhesive patches to keep out dust and liquid
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges, connects to a computer and that the microphone works (record a voice memo)
- Opening your iPhone SE 2022 breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit a new screen adhesive seal when you reassemble it
