Is your iPhone 16 Pro charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or USB-C dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This USB-C dock flex cable replaces the charging port on the iPhone 16 Pro (A3083, A3292, A3293 and A3294). This part will either be brand new or a Used Genuine Apple replacement.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
On the iPhone 16 Pro the bottom microphone is a separate part and is not on this flex. If callers cannot hear you, see our iPhone 16 Pro Bottom Microphone with Pressure Sensor.
Part Includes:
- USB-C connector
- Flex Cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 16 Pro Max, 16 or 15 Pro. They use different ports. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only is seen inside the charging port, not easily visible from the outside. Choose a dark or light colour to suit the inside of your current port.
Please Note
Opening the iPhone 16 Pro breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Fit new back glass adhesive when you close it up.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are many different lengths: two 7.4mm P2 pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port, then Y000 tri-point, Phillips and standoff screws inside (the port itself is held by two 3.4mm Phillips screws, one 3.6mm standoff and one 1.3mm Y000). Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- On the iPhone 16 Pro this repair is done from the back glass, not the screen, and the logic board stays in. Remove the two pentalobe screws, warm the edges of the back glass and lift it with a suction cup. Keep picks no more than 5mm deep at the bottom and 3mm at the top, and don't slide a pick in next to the volume up button, where a delicate cable runs
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. The battery and back glass cables sit under small screw-on covers: disconnect the battery first and reconnect it last
- To reach the port, remove the Taptic Engine cover, the Taptic Engine and the loudspeaker
- On the iPhone 16 Pro the battery has to come out for this repair. Pull its three stretch-release strips out slowly at a low angle, and if one breaks, add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol and wait a minute before lifting. Don't bend or puncture the battery, and fit new battery adhesive when it goes back in. Fit new battery adhesive when the battery goes back in
- Unplug the lower cable and move it aside. The bottom microphone sits right beside the port and shares its standoff screw, so work around it carefully and don't pull on its cable
- The port sits in an adhesive gasket behind two black prongs. Before fitting the new one, check the prongs stand straight up and the grounding clips on the screw posts face the bottom of the phone
- To line the new port up with the hole in the frame, plug a USB-C cable (not connected to power) in from outside and press the port onto it, then fit the inner screws
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges and connects to a computer, and record a voice memo to check the bottom microphone still works
- Opening your iPhone 16 Pro breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit new back glass adhesive when you close it up
