Is your iPhone 15 Plus charging port not working? If it feels loose, only charges at an angle, charges on and off, won't connect to a computer or isn't charging at all, a new charging port (also called the charger port or USB-C dock connector) is usually the repair you need.
This USB-C dock flex cable is the complete charging port assembly for the iPhone 15 Plus (A2847, A3093, A3094 and A3096): the USB-C connector, the lower microphone built into the flex and the flex cable that plugs into the logic board.
The iPhone 15 Plus also has a separate main bottom microphone that is not on this flex. If callers can't hear you but your phone charges normally, see our iPhone 15 Plus Bottom Microphone, Pressure Sensor & Bluetooth Antenna.
100% guaranteed to never show "This accessory may not be supported" on official Apple products with our charger ports.
Part Includes:
- USB-C connector
- Lower Microphone (built into the flex)
- Flex Cable
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit iPhone 15, 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or 16 Plus. They use different ports. Check in Settings, General, About for your model.
Please Note
The port colour only is seen inside the charging port, not easily visible from the outside, so this one suits any colour iPhone.
Please Note
This repair requires the removal of the logic board to reach the port. Watch the video in Installation Help before you start.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- Always power down your device prior to working on it
- Track your screws, they are many different lengths: two 7.7mm P2 pentalobe screws beside the USB-C port, small Y000 screws on the connector covers, a 3.2mm standoff screw on the main microphone, the logic board screws, and eight small screws holding the port (seven crosshead screws, two of them long and set at a low angle, plus one special "super screw"). Draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- On the iPhone 15 Plus both the back glass and the screen come off for this repair. Remove the two pentalobe screws, warm the edges and lift each panel with a suction cup. Keep your opening picks shallow (about 3-5mm, 7mm on the right side of the back glass) and stay clear of the cable near the volume-up button
- Make sure you always unplug the battery before attempting any component removal. The battery connector sits under the lower connector cover, held by two 1.3mm Y000 screws: disconnect it first and reconnect it last
- The charging port sits under the logic board. The cameras, top and bottom speakers, Taptic Engine, main microphone, SIM tray assembly and logic board come out first. The port flex is held by its screws and adhesive: lift its end and peel it gently off the frame
- The connector to the logicboard can be tricky to align correctly so it fits into place. Before removing the old port, trace around it with a pencil so you know exactly where it sits. To line up the new port, plug a USB-C cable (not connected to power) in from outside and press the port onto it, then fit the screws
- Check the two grounding clips are still in place with their springs facing the screen side, and press the small microphone on the new flex into its recess to the left of the speaker seal. Clean off the old adhesive and refit the main microphone with its sound holes clear
- Before closing the phone, test that it charges and connects to a computer, and make a test call or voice memo to check the microphones
- Opening your iPhone 15 Plus breaks its factory water-resistance seal. Clean off the old adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and fit new screen adhesive and back glass adhesive when you close it up
