Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your phone and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
Always power down your device prior to working on it
Make sure you always unplug the battery before attemping any component removal
It is important to remove all left over adhesive residue before installing the new one. We recommend using isopropyl alcohol wipes or liquid with a cotton bud
Use a spudger to push the edges down to make it stick correctly before removing the backing

Where do I find the model number on my device? X
In settings
Go to Settings > General > About. To the right of "Model Number", you can see the Device Number (M
number). To see the the Model Number (A number) tap on the device number.
On the outside of your device
On an iPhone 8 or later, to find the Model Number (A number), remove the SIM tray and look in the SIM tray
slot. Make sure that you're in a well-lit place to assist with reading. The model number is written on the
side with the display.
On an iPhone 7 or earlier, an iPad, or an iPod Touch, you'll find the Model Number (A number) on the back of
your device.

On my device
Find the serial number, EMC number and model number printed on the underside of your Mac near the regulatory
markings. It's also on the original packaging next to a barcode label. EMC is the
most accurate number to compare with our list as it takes into account the year of your device.

On my device
