Cracked screen, black display, lines or flickering on your MacBook Pro 13" A2338? Replace a damaged or cracked LCD on your MacBook Pro 13" A2338 2020 & 2022 with a complete display assembly. It is preinstalled with all the small parts originally on the screen, so you can just remove and replace.
It is a 13.3" LED-backlit IPS LCD screen with a 2560 x 1600 resolution, supplied as a complete lid with the display cover, bezel, FaceTime HD camera, display daughterboard, clutch hinges, display spring and display flex already fitted. The display is held in with screws, so no heat or adhesive is needed and there is no glass or panel to separate.
The same display assembly fits both the M1 (2020) and M2 (2022) MacBook Pro 13" A2338. Choose Space Grey or Silver to match your MacBook.
Part Includes:
- 2560 x 1600 13.3" LCD Screen
- Bezel
- Display Cover
- FaceTime HD Camera
- Display daughterboard
- Clutch hinges
- Display spring
- 12 Month Warranty
Please Note
Does NOT fit Intel A2289 or A2251, or MacBook Air A2337. Check the A-number on the bottom case for your model.
Please Note
Same part for M1 and M2 models. The whole lid is replaced, so pick Space Grey or Silver to match.
Please Note
Aftermarket assembly, not a genuine Apple part. True Tone will not work. Brightness works as normal.

Here are some helpful tips to assist you in completing a safe repair on your device. If you are unsure of something or have any questions, please feel free to contact us either by phone (0508 IGADGET) or by email
- Drain the battery below 25% before you start on this repair
- We recommend disabling autoboot before starting so the MacBook does not power on mid-repair. On macOS Sequoia 15 or later, enter sudo nvram BootPreference=%00 in Terminal, and sudo nvram -d BootPreference to undo it afterwards (Apple guide). Then power down
- Always track your screws to avoid putting back in the wrong place and damaging your device. You can draw a picture of your laptop and tape the screws to the right places or use a screw mat
- When releasing the bottom case clips, do not slide the pick sideways, as two display cables run close to the edge
- Disconnect the battery before touching the display cables or attempting any component removal. Peel back the tape and flip up the battery data connector, then remove the T5 screw and lift the battery power connector
- The 12 tiny P2 screws on the antenna bar strip easily, so use a good P2 driver and keep steady pressure
- The spring hinges are held by T3 screws and lift out with tweezers. Refit them correctly so the display flex stays tensioned
- Make sure you route the LCD and camera cables correctly so they don't get pinched by the hinge
- Don't peel off the protective film or any stickers until you've tested the new screen and it's working properly.
- Reconnect the antenna cables after refitting the antenna bar, or Wi-Fi and Bluetooth will be weak
- If the hinge clicks after reassembly, loosen the T8 hinge screws, re-align the display and tighten them again
